  • The Investment Operations (Middle Office) Project Analyst will be a hybrid role sitting between the business as usual Investment Operations team and the Integration project team.
  • They will be expected to use their technical subject matter expertise to help support business as usual activities and project activities including testing.
  • Ensuring that the daily quality of delivery is maintained alongside ensuring that the integration project progresses to plan.
  • Support internal and external clients (e.g. Clients, Fund managers, Dealers, Client Relationship managers, Product managers etc.) on day to day operations and fund administrative matters. These duties include trade support and middle office administration including but not limited to :
  • Trade monitoring - Follow up and ensure trade matching and settlement issues are resolved; reporting of trading activities to ensure adherence to best execution policy.
  • Order placement - Placement of feeder fund trade order and send to registrar or custodian within the stipulated cut off time. 
  • Middle Office - Monitor the activities and performance of service providers; responding to cash and position queries; managing reconciliations and billing; ensure queries are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Administrative - Maintenance of database records,  update of authorized signatories list, preparation of statistics; participation on surveys, and other KYC related documentation
  • Procedures - Assist in updating operating procedures to ensure all are current and updated regularly; ensure all risk management policies and controls are performed and updated.
  • Project involvement: 
  • Support testing for the Investment Operations team and analysis to resolve any defects.
  • Help with business analysis to support requirements from the APAC region.
  • Support the update of processes and procedures ahead of implementations
  • Help to train members of the team on new processes or changes to existing processes.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Detailed understanding of investment instruments across all asset classes
  • Knowledge of Markit EDM (MEDM / CADIS) would be beneficial
  • Experience in a fund management/fund administration environment
  • Solid knowledge of asset management business, investment products and regulations requirement
  • Good track records in driving initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence
  • Possess strong control and excellent quality of services orientation
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills
  • Self-motivated and dynamic
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Bachelor Degree
