Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Within the Insurance Industry Group, we help insurers achieve high performance to deliver innovative products, enabling market differentiation through Digitalization and state of the art insurance distribution models.

  • We help many leading insurers industrialize their operations, turn into the digital and automation which enables them to reduce their costs, improve customer service, grow revenue, and attain real differentiation. 
  • In this role, you will apply your functional / management experience in insurance to deliver high value digital and/or operational solutions that help our clients move forward in every part of their business, from strategic planning to day-to-day operations. 
  • You will be working at the forefront of innovation and cooperate with well-known clients as well as start-ups.
  • You will be growing your team within a pool of talented consultants.
  • You will drive challenging business & strategy projects such as Life Operating Model & local benchmarking, Life IT Transformation, large IT digital transformation implementations & Robotics. 
  • Consulting and partnering with our insurance clients to help them develop high digital and/or operations performance solutions to advance their industry position 
  • Transform business and operating models at leading life insurers and group benefits providers 
  • Work on challenging business change & IT and/ or ops strategy projects such as definition of new operating models and transformation initiatives, local benchmarking, process automation of manual activities, and implementation of large digital transformation programs
  • Work with some of the most prestigious national and global clients to address their greatest challenges and provide innovative and creative solutions to overcome these

  • Leading the creation of discussion decks and participating/leading in pre-sales and sales meetings
  • Cultivating and closing client opportunities by delivering proposals which exceed expectations
  • Developing the approach to solve complex client issues based on Deloitte methodology
  • Leading the delivery of workshops, reports, and managing complex programmes through to completion
  • Leading a client/Deloitte team to deliver in line with senior stakeholder expectations
  • Supporting client decision-making, taking account of industry context
  • Providing project management expertise including senior stakeholder management
  • Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Deep experience in or around one or more of the Tech and Ops Strategy Insurance disciplines,
  • Regulatory Implementation; Process design; Management Reporting / Decision Support / Business Partnering; Data Model / CoA design;
  • Have worked in Life or General Insurance Industry either directly or in a consulting role and understand the challenges currently being faced by the industry
  • Have a good understand of the Insurance Industry 
  • Ability to develop senior level relationships and leverage sales
  • Evidence of leading multiple, large and complex change projects
  • Ability to lead teams of consultant, client and vendor resource
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with ability to motivate others
