Job Title: IT Infrastructure

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Address users requests regarding hardware, software and networking 
  • Walk customers through installing applications 
  • Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems 
  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions 
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting a times 
  • Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue 
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs 
  • Record technical issues and solutions in logs 
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel 
  • Follow up with users to ensure their systems are functional 
  • Help create technical documentation and record keeping 
  • Have the ability to work as part of the team whilst also being comfortable to work without supervision 
  • Can think on your feet, set and manage expectations and follow through all tasks till complete 
  • Have the ability to absorb and retain information quickly


Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Ideally 4-6 yrs of IT support experience, working within a medium to large sized company. 
  • Familiarity with financial software such as Bloomberg is preferred but not essential 
  • Trade Floor background preferred but not essential
  • Customer oriented essential.
