Job Title: Onboarding, Middle Office

Company: Large Investment Bank

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • You will be the primary person of contact at the firm for client on-boarding day-to-day processes and inquiries, and will support the Head of Department for various initiatives in client on-boarding and other Middle Office areas in order to enhance procedures, controls and data integrity.
  • You should have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey any important data received.
  • You will have the skill to plan and prioritize work according to the requirements and be proficient in handling reports and all the relevant data and information.
  • Perform client due diligence for new and existing clients to comply with AML/CFT policy and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure clients’ account opening documentary requirements are fulfilled.
  • Prepare Operational Risk periodical reports for management.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for agent banks’ accounts

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to pay attention to details, work as a team and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Relevant experience in client onboarding and client due diligence processes essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent English communication; written/spoken Japanese preferred but not essential.
